A trip with a difference as we enjoy a week of music making together. We form a choir, learn songs, enjoy movement, yodelling, singing classes and lots of fun, and then present a finale concert together, all while drinking wine and eating great food in the Barossa Valley.

SATURDAY 7 JUNE 2025 (L, D)

Pullman Port Douglas Sea Temple Resort & Spa

A 5-star resort located on Four Mile Beach, tropical North Queensland - gateway to the Great Barrier Reef and Daintree Rainforest. It is situated around one of the largest lagoon pools in the Southern Hemisphere.

Highlights Include: 

• We fly direct to Cairns, stopping for lunch on arrival and a short tour of Cairns.

• Casual dinner this evening on arrival.

SUNDAY 8 JUNE 2025 (B, AT, D)

Highlights Include: 

• Drive to Kuranda where we will embark on our scenic rail journey through the beautiful rainforest and the Barron Falls.

• This evening, we present our welcome dinner, Magical Musicals featuring hits from music theatre, in our lovely location overlooking the lagoon.

MONDAY 9 JUNE 2025 (B, MT, L, AT)

Highlights Include: 

• Full day cruise tour to Great Barrier Reef with beautiful corals and incredible marine life.

• Time for viewing in a semi-submerged submarine, for diving and snorkelling with three spectacular reefs, as well as enjoying a delicious tropical lunch.

• Our evening is free to relax or perhaps explore the many great restaurants in Port Douglas.

TUESDAY 10 JUNE 2025 (B, D)

Highlights Include: 

• Free time to relax by the pool or on the beach today.

• Tonight our concert is a special treat: Last Night of the Proms, featuring great tunes from around the world, Marian playing favourites, singalongs, flag waving and lots of jokes and frivolity.

WEDNESDAY 11 JUNE 2025 (B, L, AT)

Highlights Include: 

• Drive to the famous Daintree Rainforest, a tropical rainforest, enjoy a river cruise with a BBQ lunch and a Billy Tea afternoon tea.

• A chance to sit back and enjoy a movie night, Rocketman, the story of Elton John, complete with popcorn and sweets!

THURSDAY 12 JUNE 2025 (B, L, D)

Highlights Include: 

• A tour at Hartley’s Crocodile Farm, an award-winning attraction, created on a World Heritage Park. We cruise the wetlands, watching crocodiles, birds and other wildlife, plus see a crocodile show. Lunch is included - don’t worry, we are not lunch!

• This evening we present America here we come! - famous American songs, Elvis, Vegas headliners, Rat Pack, 50s, 60s, 70s and the best of country.

FRIDAY 13 JUNE 2025 (B, D)

Highlights Include: 

• A free day to enjoy the facilities of the hotel or explore.

• Tonight, we enjoy dinner and our finale concert Celtic Celebration at the famous Flames of the Forest, encapsulating both Celtic beauty and crazy music - Irish jigs and ballads, Scottish reels and singalongs. A wonderful, fun way to finish our holiday!

SATURDAY 14 JUNE 2025 (B)

Today we fly home filled with wonderful memories, music and new friends.

This Trip Includes:

• Return economy airfare Auckland/Cairns/Auckland flying Air New Zealand including taxes. (Flight schedule to be confirmed with Air NZ when possible due to changes in scheduling).  

• 7 nights’ accommodation at the 5-star Pullman Port Douglas Sea Temple Resort & Spa, surrounded by magnificent pools and beside Four Mile Beach.  

• Themed musical events presented by our favourite artists: Karl, Marian, Kate, Charlotte, Isaac, Tracey and Grant.

• Music themes include Last Night of the Proms; Celtic Celebration, encapsulating all the mystic and haunting music of this genre against a background of the mystical rain forest; America here we come! a perfect way to start our fabulous musical tour and Magical Musicals featuring hits from music theatre.

Mobility - Easy Tour

This tour will suit people with a stick, but not a walker or in a wheelchair. You will be required to walk to get from place to place and stand in museums and gardens, but it is designed to be an easy tour with lots of time to rest, travel on a coach and walk easy leisurely distances. You will need to be able to get on and off a bus with ease. If you are unsure, please ring the office to discuss your suitability for our tours.
