A trip with a difference as we enjoy a week of music making together. We form a choir, learn songs, enjoy movement, yodelling, singing classes and lots of fun, and then present a finale concert together, all while drinking wine and eating great food in the Barossa Valley.

Sanctuary Rarotonga - on the Beach (7 nights) 

Highlights Include: 

• We are transferred to our Adults Only resort, located on the beach. We have booked beachfront rooms where you enjoy either a partial or full view of the lagoon.

• Welcome dinner on the Lagoon View Verandah with concert of favourites: Memories are made of this.

Highlights Include: 

• Orientation tour of Rarotonga with a local guide including a visit to Te Ara Museum and craft exhibition. 

• Lunch at Trader Jacks and time for shopping, then free time for swimming and relaxing.

• Dinner tonight and a musical feast entitled America, here we come!, music theatre, Dixie, Vegas headliners, a bit of Americana...anyone for a dance?

• Visit to Punanga Nui Markets with time for shopping. 

• Visit to Maire Nui Botanical Gardens including morning tea and entertainment from a local entertainer.

• Light lunch at Vaiana’s on the beach. 

• Free time to relax by the pool and enjoy an evening off. 

SUNDAY 14 SEPTEMBER 2025 (B)

Highlights Include: 

• Church service with wonderful singing from the locals. 

• Day of leisure in keeping with the Rarotonga traditions. 

Classics by Candlelight concert in a beautiful local church by our artists.

Highlights Include: 

• Lagoon cruise with a chance to swim or snorkel, lunch on the beach and visit a local village. 

• Enjoy a spectacular island night with dinner, cultural dancing and singing. 

TUESDAY 16 SEPTEMBER 2025 (B, L, D)

Highlights Include: 

• “Tapuae” Footprints of our Ancestors Day Tour with Umu Feast.

• Dinner at Tamarind House Restaurant and an open-air concert entitled Starry, Starry Night featuring best loved melodies and romantic songs from the 70s era.

WEDNESDAY 17 SEPTEMBER 2025 (B, D)

Highlights Include: 

• Visit Apii Avarua assembly and concert performance. 

• Relax by the pool or time for a massage! 

• We begin with sunset cocktails on the beach followed by our finale concert, A Little Bit of Country, including songs by the likes of Roger Whittaker, Dolly Parton, John Denver and Neil Diamond. 

FRIDAY 19 SEPTEMBER 2025

We flew home yesterday but because of the dateline we arrive home today.

This Trip Includes:

• Return economy airfares Auckland – Rarotonga on Air New Zealand. 

• 7 nights’ accommodation at the Sanctuary Rarotonga - on the Beach. 

• Many of our favourite artists to entertain and look after you: Karl Perigo, Marian Burns, Rebecca Wright, Isaac Pawson, Chet O’Connell and Grant Winterburn. 

• We provide you with themed events with a beautiful tropical island as our backdrop: Starry, Starry Night, a 70s show at an open air venue, A Little Bit of Country, including songs made famous by the likes of Roger Whittaker, Dolly Parton, John Denver and Neil Diamond, Memories Are Made of This on the beach, America, here we come!, music theatre, Dixie, Vegas headliners, a bit of Americana and Classics by Candlelight in the local church. 

• Many great tours and events including a school visit with concert and church visit listening to the local choir, dinner and Spectacular Over Water Night Show, which includes fire walking and cultural dancing, presented on fixed and floating stages, Lagoon Cruise with BBQ lunch, “Tapuae” Footprints of our Ancestors Day Tour, botanical gardens and markets. 

• All breakfasts, 4 lunches, 1 morning tea and 5 dinners are included.

• All itinerary details are subject to change, but changes will be replaced with a comparable or better option. 

• Initial & Second deposits are fully refundable up until final balance due date, minus an administration fee of up to $500 plus any non-recoverable costs. 

• All monies are non-refundable at final balance due date. This becomes an insurance claim. 

• Bank transfer payments incur no surcharge. Credit card payments incur surcharge of 1.5%.

• Travellers need to be independently mobile and fit to travel. 

• Bookings will only be accepted with initial deposit & booking form. 

• All travellers must obtain comprehensive travel insurance for international travel and insurance for domestic travel is recommended.

Mobility - Easy Tour

This tour will suit people with a stick, but not a walker or in a wheelchair. You will be required to walk to get from place to place and stand in museums and gardens, but it is designed to be an easy tour with lots of time to rest, travel on a coach and walk easy leisurely distances. You will need to be able to get on and off a bus with ease. If you are unsure, please ring the office to discuss your suitability for our tours.
