• Today we fly from Auckland to Sydney.
• City tour of Sydney on arrival, including the main sights and history of Australia’s most diverse and cosmopolitan city.
• Tonight we enjoy our welcome gala event: Romance of Europe, a selection of best loved songs and opera of Europe presented by our artists.
THURSDAY 27 MARCH 2025 (B, L)
Highlights Include:
• A tour of Sydney Opera House with a chance to wander outside and take photos of this iconic landmark, followed by lunch at a restaurant overlooking the harbour.
• The first of our shows this evening, La Traviata at the Sydney Opera House. One of Verdi’s most famous and best loved operas, brimming with passion and heartbreak and many of his most wonderful tunes including Ah Fors’e Lui and the Brindisi drinking song.
FRIDAY 28 MARCH 2025 (B, High Tea)
Highlights Include:
• We explore the famous Royal Botanic Garden and its remarkable history, botany, and wildlife on an unforgettable 1.5-hour guided walk. Led by knowledgeable and friendly guides, we’ll discover the Garden’s rich heritage, plant diversity and iconic sights.
• The Queen Victoria Building is a heritage-listed late nineteenth-century building and we partake of High Tea in their famous tearooms, complete with fine china, wonderful food and glorious surroundings.
• After a free afternoon we are transported to our 2nd special event, Cinderella. This whimsical and highly acclaimed production of one of the world’s most loved fairy tales will make its grand debut in Australia after hugely successful seasons at The Metropolitan Opera of New York and Royal Opera House Covent Garden. The costumes and sets look amazing!
SATURDAY 29 MARCH 2025 (B, D)
Highlights Include:
• Free morning and afternoon for shopping.
• This evening after an early pre-show dinner we enjoy excellent seats at the magnificent Capitol Theatre for our 3rd show: Annie. Based on the popular comic strip by Harold Gray, the show became a worldwide phenomenon and was the winner of seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical. This family favourite features songs like Tomorrow and It’s the hard-knock life.
SUNDAY 30 MARCH 2025 (B, L)
Highlights Include:
• See Sydney’s sights in style with million-dollar views and world-famous icons through expansive windows while enjoying a gourmet lunch cruise on the world’s most beautiful harbour.
• We enjoy the best seats at a new production of the iconic musical Guys & Dolls for Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour in 2025, that will transport us to 1950’s Manhattan, a colourful and glamorous world filled with showgirls and gangsters, set against Sydney’s glittering skyline. Famous songs include Luck be a Lady, Sit down you’re Rockin the Boat and I’ll know.
MONDAY 31 MARCH 2025 (B, L, D)
Highlights Include:
• Day trip to the Blue Mountains – boasting spectacular natural attractions and dazzling vistas. Our visit includes lunch and rail rides on Scenic Cableway, Scenic Railway and Scenic Skyway.
• Feel free to dress in Art Deco clothing as we step back in time for our final night dinner Puttin on the Ritz in a beautiful art deco ballroom. Our elegant concert will include music theatre, famous songs and ballads from the 20s and 30s.
TUESDAY 1 APRIL 2025 (B)
Today we fly home filled with wonderful memories, music and new friends.

This trip has a little more walking than an easy tour.
